Reformer

Reformer Pilates focuses on core strength, flexibility, and body control. It gets you up and off the floor and onto a machine called the ‘Reformer’.

The reformer assists with stability and support, making it accessible to beginners while still challenging advanced clients. The benefits are seen and felt within a few weeks of regular classes, in particular within your posture, alignment and all over body strength.

Yoga

Berlee Studios offers Yoga classes in Hatha, Yin and Ashtanga Vinyasa.

Yoga is an ancient practice that focuses on the connection between breath, body, and mind. It involves a series of postures (asanas) and breathing exercises that promote flexibility, strength, and mental clarity.

Yoga emphasizes mindfulness, relaxation, and alignment, often incorporating meditation and a spiritual element. It can vary in intensity, from gentle, restorative styles to more dynamic, strength-building practices.

Mat Pilates

Mat Pilates is a floor-based version of Pilates that doesn’t require any equipment (except a mat).

It focuses on controlled movements that engage the core, improve posture, and increase flexibility. While it doesn't have the added resistance of the Reformer, Mat Pilates still provides a highly effective workout that strengthens the muscles, particularly the abdominals, back, and pelvic floor. It’s an excellent way to build a strong foundation in Pilates and can be done anywhere.
